Challenge
Teenage users get addicted to smoking in peer pressure then find it difficult to get a correct direction in order to quit, so we need to create a fun way to get them to quit smoking by showing them correct steps and healthy progress.

Tobacco abuse and substance absue have been a widespread phenomena that we all are aware of. However, we still end up being victims of the same many a times. To quit and take a better take to a healthier lifestyle is a need of the hour and our goal is to promote the same through our app.
RESEARCH:
During the research phase of the project, I conducted user interviews to build new personas and to inform the design. Together with the team, we did an extensive research, prepared an interview script with open-ended questions, focusing on our target audiences’ values, motivations, and daily routines. In 4 days, I recruited and interviewed users remotely.
We referenced the user interview findings throughout the entire design process and the process included the following finding:
Cigarette smoking has been identified as a cause of cancer.
Target audience.
The reasons and causes for smoking in teenagers
Leading to the next phase of how we should use our findings.
What did we understand?
We wanted to form a deeper understanding of our users' goals, needs, experiences, and behaviours. So, we created 2 personas for each of our user segments and one Proto-persona.
They were based on user interviews and surveys, and we kept updating them throughout the project as we gathered more data.
We used these personas whenever we wanted to step out of ourselves and reconsider our initial ideas. These are the main pointers we extracted from our personas.
The user feels that a smoke can only let him through the day.
The smoker feels directionless in order to begin the process and how to go about it?
The user feels judged when doing the process by themselves.
The user feels uneasy health wise while smoking throughout the day.
Five Major Steps to Intervention (The "5 A's")Successful intervention
Successful intervention begins with identifying users and appropriate interventions based upon the patient's willingness to quit. The five major steps to intervention are the
Ask - Identify and document tobacco use status for every patient at every visit. (You may wish to develop your own vital signs sticker, based on the sample below).
Advise - In a clear, strong, and personalized manner, urge every tobacco user to quit
Assess - Is the tobacco user willing to make a quit attempt at this time?
Assist - For the patient willing to make a quit attempt, use counseling and pharmacotherapy to help him or her quit. (See Counseling Patients To Quit and pharmacotherapy information in this packet)
Arrange - Schedule followup contact, in person or by telephone, preferably within the first week after the quit date.
